Riva Aquarama 3rd Series (1969 - 1971)
Length: 8,72 mt
Width: 2,6 mt
Engines: 2×220 HP V8 GM Riva
During the building of the third series of the Aquarama (with a deep “V” hull), Engineer Carlo Riva improved both the seaworthiness of the hull and its aesthetics.
A key feature was that, on 41 units, he replaced the four side air vents with two streamlined ones, a modification that remained in place until 1996.
The year 1971 also marked the last production year of motorboats by Engineer Carlo Riva before he sold the shipyard to an American company. To this day, his family still owns Aquarama hull number 486, which belonged to Engineer Carlo Riva.
