Iseo Lake is beautiful – Mr. Brainwash x Bellini

The 3rd and 4th of July, the most coveted private island of the Italian lakes, Loreto’s island, will be the open-air setting for an exclusive event: “Iseo Lake is beautiful”, the collaboration between Bellini Nautica and the artist Mr. Brainwash that will combine the timeless charm of Riva vintage boats with the pop and hyper-contemporary style of street art.

Bellini Nautica, a company specialized for three generations in the restoration and trading of vintage Riva boats based in Clusane d’Iseo, together with Deodato Arte, an innovative art gallery with several locations in Europe, and Mr. Brainwash (stage name of Thierry Guetta), one of the most famous street artists in the world, is pleased to present the Riva Super Aquarama by Mr. Brainwash, an exclusive and unique collector’s piece that encompasses two souls, luxury and art.

The Loreto island will host several works by Mr. Brainwash, thanks to the collaboration with Deodato, the art gallery that represents the artist in Italy, but not only. At Bellini Nautica dockyard, there will be the possibility to admire the model of the unique Riva Aquarama signed Mr. Brainwash.

The name of the event, “Lake is Beautiful” is in honor of Mr. Brainwash’s slogan “Life is Beautiful”.

This is a new artistic praise to the territory of Lake Iseo and its beauties that lend themselves once again to art, well after four years from the work “The Floating Piers” by Christo.

The world-famous artist Mr. Brainwash is known as one of the best known exponents of street art along with Banksy. Mr. Brainwash is famous as the creator of Madonna’s album covers and collaborations with the Red Hot Chili Peppers and international companies such as Coca Cola, Hublot and Mercedes Benz.

Battista Bellini, the CEO of Bellini Nautica, explains: ‘Going against every rule – and, if you like, also against all stylistic coherence – we decided to put the timeless beauty of this iconic symbol of the Dolce Vita, tradition and classicism to the test. With Mr Brainwash’s input, we want to magnify the immortal beauty of an Aquarama by setting it on a collision course with the creative force of this incredible artist! We made an Aquarama Super available for the project because we liked the idea of bringing together two of our biggest passions: vintage Riva boats and art.

Concept again repeated by Martina Bellini, Bellini Nautica’s head of marketing, puts it: ‘When we host artists and works of art here on the lake, it seems like the bond has always existed, and was created as if we already knew it had to happen.’

The initiative will be accessible to the public by reservation only.
